Default Linguini and Clam Sauce

Other than the cutoff on the right side, any other suggestions? I'm a newbie here and I'm very happy to find a community of fellow photographers to get some real honest feedback.

I'm not a fan of clams and this makes me hungry too! What's the EXIF on this photo?

What is the EXIF? I think you used too open of an aperture, if you had used a smaller aperture you might have had a better focus on the clams as well as the pasta (ling is considered pasta right?)
