Do you have any specific questions?

The thing that jumps out at me is that it's really cluttered and doesn't really have a subject.

Nope just curious to see what people think. It's subtle but the battery has "road rash" and the pack of ciggs was a reference to the stress of competing. (I think next time ill have the chassis of the touring car looming in the background) Does anyone else think its over crowded? Is the exposure good? Any other suggestion to make it a better picture?

I recommend going with lithium batteries. Who uses NiCad’s anymore? Then again, I don’t really drive cars anymore. I’ve moved on to electric helicopters, and NiCad’s are way to heavy.

If you want a cool shot, put your car on a table, and shot up from the front bumper off to one side, and try to get the front of the car in focus, and the back blurry.

Actually there NiMHs, as for LiPo, the chassis was designed for NiMHs (weight balance)so when i run a LiPo in theory it throws off the chassis balance (although i never noticed a difference in handling...), and the car has an aluminum battery holder that my LiPo wont fit in. But i run LiPos in my stadium truck and helicopter.

I have taken a shot like that and posted it last weekend in the "share your shots" thread.

not sure if i like the ciggies in the background. maybe the car would go better there... but then i am a non-smoker so thats gunna be my POV anyhow

i dont mind the batteries part of the shot at all. the focus and DoF are good and the b/w conversion works well. the "road rash" to a non-racer is not evident.

Yea smoking is a terrible nasty habit, Hopefully one day i can break the habit. I had forgotten that this is a non R/C related forum and should have initially said the pack was scarred from an incident involving carbon fiber, 52 mph and a concrete curb lol.
