Default taken in my lightbox

I finally have some pics worth showing! I made up a lightbox this weekend, and I'm absolutley thrilled with the pics I got! here's my fav..


Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/7.1
Focal Length: 46 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: 4/3 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire

rich, I added some pics of the box to the flickr stream. It was super easy. I just cut the holes in the box, covered with tissue paper, cut a piece of poster board in half and put it in the box. the lights were $9 each, tissue paper and poster board were both less than a dollar.

One thing I just haven't had time for is building a light box. Every time I see what people do with them, I have thought about it more.

If you have the ability to do a bit of editing in Photoshop or The Gimp, you may try using the curves or levels to get that background a bit whiter / brighter. It will help show off those very nice blues you've got there.

Out of curiousity, what kind of bulbs are you using in those lamps? The ones I bought are so very harsh yellow, and I didn't see any other bulbs that seemed to fit in it.
