Default Pottery without a cause

I would like comments on the colors in this picture. It has annoyed me for about a month. I have used the correct WB, I have set the black, gray and whitepoint, adjusted color balance and saturation. Somehow there is something I can't put my fingers on. Is there any color cast? Feel free to edit.

Are you concerned about the colours while editing or the colours as it's posted here.

I downloaded the file to see what I could do and found it to be much nicer in my offline viewer/editor.

For starters, when exporting your images for the web be sure to use sRGB as the colour profile. I don't know how to set that in your image tool but in Lightroom it is an option on export. Most web browsers don't read embedded colour profiles and as a result can't display the image they way you produced it. sRGB is becoming the standard and web browsers get it.

Here is a small sample of the colour differences from your shot to your shot in sRGB...

You should see greater colour depth and more contrast on the right. This is without editing.

Yes, you are right. I have converted back to shooting sRGB since I took that picture. It looks like there is some green tint in edit picture. Maybe it's supposed to be there?

I have never had a big color issue in non of my pictures, but this one really made me crazy.
