Great shot! The flowers are very vivid. I like it.

Maybe the person in the back could be positioned farther right or left to follow the rule of thirds.

Thanks for sharing!

Please include specific questions as well as EXIF. We really just need Camera, focal length, shutter speed, aperture and ISO. If you used flash that's good to know too, but the EXIF isn't always right on that. Easiest thing to do is just type them in.

You could also copy and paste just the key bits of EXIF data rather than the whole lot. Sometimes less is more!

As far as the picture goes, I think it is a great idea but needs a little more room at the top so the man isn't quite so lost among the detail. If it was someone you know posing for you, you could also get them to hold a reflector lower down, shining more light onto their face.

Love the orange and play of light on the tulips though!

Thanx wulf. funny; this was mother's day at the tulip fest- here in Albany NY-these people were from all over the state...but him being a photographer himself, he probably would've gladly accommodated me
btw: I'm looking at the same outfit you have Nikon D40 w. the af lens, but it turns out thata I got the 365.posted! but that's just where the bidding is right now- arrrg! I'll offer him my Canon A590IS and see if he's benevolent
