I keep coming back to this and trying to think of anything that would need improving upon and cant seem to think of anything!
The only thing I could possibly find is perhaps removing the stand coming out of the kids head, but thats it!

Hahaha, now that you mention it thats all I see. I will attempt to remove the stand coming from the kids head....without mucking it up!

    Thanks.

I think fiddling with the black and white conversion or just the contrast could help. Something really subtle to add a little contrast where you want it.

Just my opinion, but I think it would benefit from a bit of cropping, cutting off the top and left sides a bit. Right now the guitar player is kind of close to the middle. I tried a crop just a bit above his head and even with the left side of the tom and I think it looks better. It gets a bit closer to a rule of thirds composition. It also makes the off-picture look more interesting without the big dead space over there.

I agree that removing the stand makes the picture look better, but I suggest trying to find a Mesa amplifier logo (maybe in another shot) and put it back on the amplifier. Right now there is a big dead space near the middle of the picture. Now, my opinion may be influenced by knowing guitar amplifiers and thinking it looks strange with the logo missing, so others may disagree on this one.

@Callum James - I will do that, looks a little flat.

@windrider86 - didn't muck it up to bad!

@Charles Owen - Will do some cropping, and I totally agree about the logo thing. Never thought of replacing it!

    Thanks for the pointers.

I might not have cropped quite as much as this, but it's definitely better.

When adding something like that logo back in, the trick I use in Photoshop is to have the old version (with the stand cutting through it) on a layer below the new paste. Make it a little opaque and you can line them up. Right now it looks just a bit crooked and maybe a bit larger than it should be. Also, enable/disable layers and you can work on getting the shading/appearance to match the original. Right now it looks a bit pasted on, but is close to matching.
