Overall impressions

I'm not speaking technically - all my photos have been taken with a point and shoot (of various kinds from olympus to nikon and maybe even a kodak somewhere in the mix) so.. well, you know the limitations (and as some of you know, I'm thinking of upgrading to at least a bridge camera). But... IN GENERAL, do i have any natural talent in taking good shots? My friends and family think so - but... theyre required to say so (and none of them are camera/photog people)

i uploaded what (i think) are my best and are (coincidentally) my faves. I would love any input you may have or tips on how I could have made it better (again, within the limitations of a point and shoot, lol). my ultra faves are the ones of the sunset over the ocracoke harbor.

Talent is a very subjective thing when it comes to art. We all have it within us to develop said talent, but not all of us have the dedication, passion and courage to make the sacrifices needed to bring it out in full flower.

Nice to have you in the forums. Hang out, have a beer and soak up some sunshine. It is a long winding road you have chosen to travel. Via con Dios mi Amigo or Amiga as the case may be.
