Hi Shanku 125, Your photo is a little small to see clearly. Perhaps you could open a flkr account and post your picture from their. From the info you posted about camera settings it would seem that you over exposed your shot. The moon is a bright subject and requires a shutter speed of 1/80 th of a second or faster. You also need a tripod and a lens length of 200mm or greater. I believe their are some good tutorials on DPS about taking moon shots. Just do a search and most important, keep practicing.
