Default Christmas Market

Hi all,

I took this a couple weeks ago at a Christmas market. It was extremely crowded so my options were limited, but I feel the composition is lacking and want to know what would make it more compelling (either a crop or if I were to do a similar shot again).

Any other comments are always welcome! Thanks!

Try to find a view with a less cluttered background and where the subject gets a chance to shine. Here I see a bunch of glass ornaments but they are each too small to see in detail, instead blending into each other and creating a confusing whole.

A different position might do it or zooming in on one of them might do it. Other ideas would be looking for an ornament that is particularly well lit or capturing the moment where someone interacts with one of them. Realistically though, that might not be possible in the confines of a crowded market. If you really want freedom to experiment you might have to treat yourself to buying one or two and taking them away to somewhere quieter.
