North sea flare

Hi all,

Im new to site and new to the world of photography having owned a point and shoot for a few years and never really being happy with the photos that came from it i recently went and purchased my first DSLR and so far i have to say i am amazed by the difference!!

Well here's my first go at sharing a picture, it was taken in shutter priority mode mid afternoon on a quite dull day in the middle of the north sea.

Any comments or suggestions please let me know very open to constructive criticism and general remarks as like i say very new to photography.
