Hello DPS. I went to a local car show on US Veteran's Day and grabbed some shots. Here is one I'd love some input on. My intention is for the viewer to see the image and immediately know the type of vehicle and let their mind fill in the rest of the car.
I'm leaning that the composition is too centered, but I really didn't want to lose the door handle. I'm at work so this is my most intelligent guess at the EXIF. I'm not asking about exposure, please overlook the omission. Center weighted metering ISO- 100 f6.3 or maybe f8 Shutter in the 1/50 range

Love the vibrant red in this and the clarity. I'm not crazy about the reflections tho. Any chance of redoing it?I think its the fender well towards the bottom of the frame? Not fond of that either
You did a great job on the chrome. Its so crisp and wonderfully clear. I might move the door handle down a tad so it isn't right at the edge of the frame

As for removing the reflections, I'm not sure how to go about that with LR3. Anyone out there with the know how?

I think the vantage point is a bit lacking, and you kind of went for "the obvious" instead of "the intrinsic" definition of what the car is....
A chevy BelAir is defined by several things...one of the most significant is the fin and taillight, next is the lack of a window door post which makes it a BelAir. The last thing an affection ado needs is a name badge. I think you needed to focus more on "what makes a BelAir"... Here's an example I took a while ago. ![]() _SK13328-Edit.jpg by skersting66, on Flickr For your pic. I set the darker white reflection as the white point which brought it up to white and "blew out" the rest of the white...but who cares, it's white....I then reduced the white levels to 245 to make it not so hot. A little shift in the reds saturation/luminance helped even things out and minimize that reflection... I also added some to the rt side and cropped differently. I'm guessing it's a '55 model without the big fin of the '57, but the rounded shorter lines are still definitive.
