Long Time Exposure

How's this picture? Personally I think it's quite good, my main concern is the white fireworks at the bottom right of the image, does it need to be removed to make the image better? Should I make the image larger and and centre the exploding fireworks?

When taking pictures of fireworks what is the ideal shutter speed? Any other advice would also be appreciated...thanks
