Hey folks,
after looking the web for a propper photography-forum i ended up here, as DPS seems to have a nice structured forum. Anyways, a week ago i got a new D5100, im still a beginner but im working hard on getting better from day to day... I justed wanted to leave 2 links for you guys to give me some feedback on: First attempt, didnt really change anything on the settings, left everything on auto -> error as i noticed; Timelapse-Video [Nikon D5100] Sunset - Sra. da Rocha - Armação de Pêra - YouTube Second Attempt, far better in my opinion, even though there was no action on the sky, for further information please check the description in the video; Timelapse-Video [Nikon D5100] Sunset - Armação de Pêra - YouTube Hope you guys enjoy it, awaiting some helpfull tips ![]() As soon as i take couple more of those videos i will stick them together to get a ca. 3min video. Thanks in advance, RaeZz0r |

Neat idea and well done.
For me it is important that things happen in the time lapse sequence so that the viewer remains interested. Your first one, very little happens. The second one is much better, but maybe even that is too long. I have never tried it, but will this week I think. |

Thank you gturner,
i already thought about that "movement" thing, as soon as i get the chance i'll head to the next city to capture something like the traffic on a roundabout at night, it just takes so long to get it done ^^...thanks again for the feedback, let me know when youre done with yours ![]() raezzor
