I recently made a Papperdele pasta out of shaved yellow and green zucchini, I composed the shot, and here is what I got:
I am not sure what to post for the exif info, but it was taken with my Canon Rebel T2i, shot in RAW, then converted to JPEG. (After correcting the white balance using a grey testing card.) ![]() Zucchini Pappardelle! by Jason Sandeman, on Flickr Quote:

Hello!
I like the colors of the pappardelle and zucchini. Composition is good but the fork is not necessary so I would have left it out. Can I have some?

It's terribly easy to make by itself. I shall write up a post this week for it, and perhaps link back here. (Not sure if that is allowed...?)
I see what you mean by the fork. I guess it takes away from the main dish. Perhaps I should have had it as a setting beside the dish. |

I'll tell you because it appears no one else will.
1. Depth of field too shallow. The fork should be in focus as well or eliminated all together. 2. The fork is hidden. Without looking closely one might not know what it is. 3. Needs some punch in the color. Your image seems a bit flat. 4. Right bottom corner should be cleaned up to match the rest of the corners. 5. The blob of color top center detracts from the image. Sorry for being so harsh but you learn nothing from whimsical crits. Next time dont be afraid to punch up the ISO in this cam. It is good to just under 800 which would allow you to stop the lens down more to get the depth of field you need. The best food photog is shot from a tripod which would afford you longer shutter speeds. Here DOF should be king.
