Well, I'm looking for some cc on the whole picture, what do you think of the crop, lighting, subject, etc. There was very little pp, just a little tweaking but that's about it.
EXIF: Shutter: 1/320 Aperatire: f/7.1 ISO: 200 Focal Length: 200mm

I like the subject, but I think if you're going for a paternal feel with the big guy just edging into the frame it might have looked better if there was more of the big feet and less of the little feet, keep the contrasts balanced.
If you were just going for DOF and cute hands, I would have gone way closer. Black and white, get that nice texture from the grain and the baby hands to pop. |

I agree. I think that the adult feet are a bit too distracting. I think you should have panned out a bit if you wanted to focus on the parent/child relationship but if you wanted to capture more of the child imagination piece then I would have just isolated the child's hands and feet. I love the idea, though! Soft baby hands in tough gritty sand!

Hi, this is my take on the photo- all I did was boost contrast, lower exposure slightly, and crop. I like the panoramic style crop, but would benefit from following the 3rds rule. Nice picture though!

The two larger feet detract from this image. Mainly because they are cut off. Right now the are just two flesh colored blobs. This is a shot that begs fro BW conversion. However the shot is second best so a BW conversion will just be a failed attempt at resurrecting it.
