Default Rody Blooming

The rody is just opening.What do you think of my composition and sharpness?
D3100 (18-55mm kit lens)
26mm focal length
f/4
1/60 sec
ISO 400

Photo looks underexposed to me, and the white balance is too blue, I think.

Subject looks sharp enough, but I think you could use a much tighter crop. The pink, out-of-focus flower at camera right takes too much attention away from the in-focus subject, and I don't think the large green space around the subject helps you much.

Thank you for your help. I should have gotten closer and used a smaller aperture for a shallower depth of field. It was late in the day and shadows were setting in. That's why I
upped the ISO tring to bump up the exposure.

Try cropping out the unwanted clutter. It's not a crime to do so.
