Default Carousel Motion Blur

Julie Carousel

This was taken with a one second exposure at f11

I did not have a tripod so I had to hold the camera on the back of a park bench, which is why I could only do a second. When I go back, I will have a tripod and will tighten up my exposure so I don’t blow out the lights around the center.

The questions I have are about the composition.

Should I place my wife back in the foreground or should I go for no one in front of the ride?

Should I widen the angle any?

Should I move the photo up and get more black sky or move it down and get the paved walkway?

Any tips are welcomed.
