Default BW Conversion Feedback

My wife would like me to get this image printed on aluminum. I have very little experience with BW conversions, so I modified a LR preset to get a look I thought worked. The file was shot in raw, so I have the maximum editing options. I have access to LR and CS3, so if you have a specific suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance.

Exif data
Camera Nikon D60
Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture f/7.1
Focal Length 32 mm
ISO Speed 400

As the photo currently is, it seems a bit gray. FWIW, I'd increase the brightness of the highlights to increase the dynamic range. I'd also consider pushing up the fill light to open up the details on the near side of the larger cleat and the jungle edge.

Mostly, though, I'd make a proof print at full size on something less expensive than aluminum before commiting to the final expensive print.
