Saw this amazing car at the weekend. Its actually a hearse and the paintwork was just beautiful.
I like the angle of this shot but unfortunately the sun was almost directly behind the car and so the lighting wasn't that great. I've done some levels adjustments in PS, any other advice how to even things out would be appreciated.

if this shot is in raw, I'd do some composting.

one shot do some fill light and whatever else you have to do to bring as much detail back in the front as you can.

Second shot try to dim down the back portion as much as you can and still look natural.

blend the layers together however you like to get the best look.

To be honest though I think this shot isnt ever going to look "really" good. Pre planning the shot would have been an asset here. Either shooting for HDR, or layer blending would have really given you more options.

If the image isnt raw... just enjoy what you have ;D

Thanks Tzetsin! Unfortunately the shot is only jpeg so no flash stuff with RAW. Unfortunately I didn't get much time to plan this shot. Had originally seen the car driving away and it wasn't til a bit later that I walked along the street and spotted it. Didn't have a lot of time to get the shots as the group I was with was moving on.
