Default Bokeh trying

I used some christmas light to create kind of bokeh. And also used table lap to give little more light. I did used tripod but still it came little bit blurry so I used photoshop to make it little sharp.

There were a few details that I thought detracted a bit:

I don't think the bubbled resin in the king was a bit distracting. Since it seems like it might be difficult to replace the piece and maintain the composition, you might consider removing the bubbles in post.

The visible mold lines on two of the pawns bothered me more, and could probably be fixed by turning the pieces or replacing with pieces that didn't have the lines.

You might want to do a bit of dust removal either in pre or post.

For a really simple composition like this, small flaws become more central to the viewer's experience, so you need to be more careful than usual to look for and correct them.

With all that, the photo looks sharp enough at the size you posted it, I like the lighting quite a bit, and the composition, while simple, is engaging.

Very enjoyable picture.

Thank you so much for comment. Honestly I never notice the line on two of the pawns. Once you see that it does bother. I will try to take another shot of that

Thank you

Hi donibrp, you have a good composition and a neat idea with this shot, this is a good shot but it have a lot of potentials to make better.

For me, the object is sharp, you may feel blurry because the object is not perfectly shaped, maybe the moldings is not that good.

for transparent objects or glassware, keep in mind to clean and polish it before shooting to avoid those bubbling prints and for minimal adjustment in post processing if needed.

I like the lightings you made, the green reflections added to be a good composition.

but, the upper bokeh you've made looks like very fake and this is a destruction, , so next time if you do some bokeh be creative to looks more fine and natural, in that way it will add for a better images.

overall, it's a good shot but can be improve.

just my opinion, hope i help.
