Smile Beautiful colour blends of sky

I have shot this picture from my rooftops. The beautiful colour of the sunsets attracts me & I shot this photo without thinking so much about exposure. I have used manual focus and the focus set to infinity, to get the warm tone I have used Cloudy white balance and did some saturation in Photoshop Elements. The image could be more better if I had some kind of better knowledge in photography. That is why I am asking some kind of advice to make my future picture better particularly sunset picture.

I'm no expert, but I think this is a nice picture. The exposure is fine. You have a nice silhouette of the tree line. I would just take pictures at different times of the sunset to get different colors or maybe part of the sun. I like it just as it is.

raj29,

I've been asked to critique quite a few photos, and I usually always find small things that I think could be done to really help improve the image. But I'm not finding that to be the case here. I think that the shot is really well composed. The exposure is just fine. And you captured some very nice colors against the black silhouette. What's even more amazing, is that this came from a non-DSLR camera as well.

Overall, I'm very impressed and look forward to seeing more of your work.

David

Hi raj,

even I like the photo as it is. It is surely giving a nice feel of dark evening. Good capture!
