Rashaun Brown,

Overall, I'd say it's pretty well done. The focus is good, the depth of field isn't bad. Although personally with all the power lines in the background I'd prefer a wider open aperture to blur most of that. I think if you could find a place with wide open blue skies the photo would definitely improve.

Personally, I think the you should've gone just a little bit lower when composing the shot. When I look at it, I feel like I should be seeing the bottom of the front tire. Although, cutting off the left side of the car wasn't a bad choice.

Aside from those details that I noticed, It's kind of hard to give criticism on this photo because there really isn't a story behind it and you weren't specific in what you wanted to know. I'm sure there are others on here who can give you a lot more advice though.

In the end, I believe the lighting and color/contrast were pretty well captured though. It's definitely a decent shot of a decent subject. There just really isn't anything in the image that tells a story or keeps me attached to the picture though. But that's not always easy to do when you've got a still subject like a car that's sitting in the driveway.

So my final thought is, with the hand you were dealt with the situations surrounding taking this photo, it turned out pretty well. I hope I was atleast a little bit of help to you with all of the information I was able to provide though. I look forward to seeing what other people think of it, and I'm sure some will disagree with some of the things I mentioned lol, but that's all part of the learning curve in photography. Everybody has their own way of doing things. Doesn't make them right or wrong, it's just all about capturing the scene in your own way as the photographer/artist.

I look forward to seeing more of your work,
David

Drop your exposure to bring out the deep blacks and recompose to eliminate the power lines as much as possible. Open your aperture to defocus your background. When your done it should look similar to this edit.

Default hmmm...

Definitely need a little more of the front tire. It just feels cut off. And I agree with everyone on the power lines in the background. Either remove them in post or reshoot with a bigger aperture or just find a new spot with out them. Nice lookin ride though!
