Alright guys, I'm having alot of trouble with this. At a friends baby shower I didn't get many great shots of things. I really wanted to make a special photo out of the confetti but, the only photos I have are two poorly taken shots. I did some pp work on both but, still. They seem very very amatuer-ish. Please tell me how I can fix the photos I've re-edited or FEEL FREE to use the two originals and work with them to show me how you think it would look better. I really need help with this so please give lots of feedback.

A couple things:
It's too dark, which is making the colors flat. Try using a saturation or levels adjustment to boost them up. They need PIZZAZ!! It also lacks a main focal point, not sure what we are looking at. I'd try placing something with height (perhaps baby blocks?) to give it more depth and add a main a focal point. The light spots are a distraction but the only way to fix that now would be a lot of cloning. To alleviate that int he future you can always hold something over the area to keep the lights from above adding that glare on the surface. Adorable idea, keep em coming!
