Default Not sure what type of flower but I i like it

I believe this flower is a tulip.
I will not try to critique the technical merit, because I am not very good at this.
Overall it has a nice feeling.

Technically it looks OK

Aesthetics:
The main thing is the background is a bit distracting.
If shooting from the same viewpoint try shooting wide open, or near wide open, that should blur the background nicely.
If you are all ready shooting wide open you will need to change your point of view so the background looks a lot "cleaner" or the background compliments the flower.
If you can do both then great.
You may even need to be laying on the ground.

Here are a couple of examples (all tulips) from my Flickr stream.
All taken in parks.

(1) A clean background (Although I wish I didn't cut of the leaf)

(2) A not so clean background however it does compliment the yellow Tulip.
