Hi, welcome to DPS. Please take a moment to read through the critique section rules. We ask users to include the image's EXIF data and some specific questions to help guide the critique.

Thanks.

C'mon Deep Perspective...this is not constructive criticism.

Cactus is nicely lit but there is too much noise (I suspect due to ISO, but I am no expert) and if I haven't read your title, I wouldn't have understood this was the moon.

In a way it's good...but not much, the moon was a disaster, does not appear to be moon it looks like a car headlights, the cactus is well light but the negative space is so wide., i think the 4 secs shutter speeds affects to the moon blow up, I might suggest that you adjust the shutter speed more fast, but the problem is the cactus well not get enough light, use LED light for the cactus, i think it will works.

erm, deep perspective, instead of being so arrogant why not give a more helpful comment. Or is the only word in your vocabulary "no"? Thanks to the others for your comments. The reason i shot the pic the way i did was to create something a bit more unique and mysterious, but still appreciate your comments, except one.

i kinda liked it and the effect that it has, for me the problem is the framing

-put the ISO in the lowest possible value
-mount the cam on a tripod
-push the cactus to the far left (or maybe in the rule of thirds are)
-capture more of the cactus, by that i mean capture the cactus up to the upper half of the frame (in the case of that pic you only captured up to halfway of the frame)
-take lots of shots in different exposure and settings

I'm no expert but these are my personal opinions on how this shot can be improved
