Default Keep walking

Hi everyone,
I'd appreciate your feedback and suggestion for this photo. I like the picture, but I'm not sure if it gives a clear "keep walking" concept. What do you think? Also, some questions regarding composition: she is walking on a tilted path, does that bother you? Do you like the dof? Do you feel I should have included more of the sea?
Please help me improve. Thank you very much!
Mauro

IMO it doesn't say "keep walking". For that I'd want a much more expansive scene with a very long trail of footprints behind and a very long space left to go.. I picture an image taken from above.

To me this speaks of starting "a journey"....IMO the first footprint should have been in sharper focus since every journey starts with the first step. I also think the sea is irrelevant to the idea and having her walk uphill would have made it easier to get more footprints in the image. However, the sea gives the idea a little "brighter" feeling than walking off into endless sand....If that was the intent, walking parallel to the shore might work better (I mean, is she walking into the sea to end it all or what?).The legs are a bit blown out and WB is a bit off.

Thanks for the suggestions sk66, I'm a big fan of your pictures and comments! I really liked your idea of focusing on her first footstep to establish a beginning for the journey. She is actually walking parallel to the sea but, the photo may give the impression of going into the sea. Reading your comments and looking carefully at the picture it gives me the impression of a more "relaxed" theme... something like "take a break". Can't wait to go back to the beach and try again.

Thank you.
Definitely keep trying.... One of the hardest things in photography is to "tell a story" from a concept.
First you have to have a very clear idea. Then you have to determine exactly how you plan to convey the idea. Then you have to make adjustments because it never goes exactly according to plan the first attempt.
