Default The things my wife loves
I would like some help in critique with placement, lighting and over all composition
what could I do different to improve this shot?

Since you asked.... .here are my thoughts on it.....

I'm not crazy about the book standing up. I think it might be nice laying down, kinda angled and just reaching the area where focus is starting to fade out.

I'm also not crazy about the shape of the wine glass. Maybe using red wine (or liquid) would be nice???

I LOVE the rose... the color is just beautiful. I'd get it out of that pile of chocolate and maybe have it coming in from the other side with stem laying across the foot of the wine glass. The chocolate on its gold foil is scrumptious... I just think it needs to not have the rose laying on it.
