![]() Submitted for a contest a while ago under the theme of a 2-photo narrative. What do you think about the story that it tells? How can it be enhanced? Should the color contrast between the two be amplified? What about the composition and idea? For some reason this resize looks much less sharp than even 1:1, even with sharpening applied. I don't see much of a story either, but I too am a very analytical person. If the couple were cuddling on a cliff in front of a sunset, that would tell more of a story for me; that the couple is in love and is sharing a magical moment together.

But really, it helps to know that the story in my mind is not always seen by others. I may keep them as two separate photos if the link isn't strong enough. Quote:

The message I intended was simply a relationship in the first frame. Warm, close, and intimate. But not necessarily perfect. The second frame is after the relationship ends, and he comes back to what is now revealed as a cliff to look off to the world. The second frame is meant to be colder, and less intimate, portrayed through a zoom out and cooler color temperature. Of course, a photo should never be words to display its message, so that's something I need to work on.

well, to be honest, I thought one of them might have jumped to their ending while the other suffers the loss
