Bad Moon Rising

Hello everyone. I'm very new to the art of photography. New as in I've only taken maybe 50 serious tries at being artistic. I shot this 2 nights ago and I know it could have been so much better but I have know idea how to do it. I want to learn everything I can to take much better photos. Thanks for any advice.

Focal Lenth 200mm ( the longest I have for now)
Flash Mode Flash, Auto, No Strobe Return

One other thing. I took this photo without a tripod. I'm definitely going to get one soon tho. I think it will help for a better photo rather then holding the camera in my hand.

Even tho I'm not fond of flicker I did it anyway. I want to be a better photographer so I need to be able to load pics to get advice/comments.

I don't know what's going on. Sometimes the photo is there and sometimes it's not. All of my other submission are doing the same thing. I'm not sure why.

Don't worry about that because it is not your problem. I am also having that same problem with this site. But as your description i predict that it was very nice picture that you were posted here. Keep posting.

I dont like flicker at all. Guess I'm SOL.
