Here's a tip. Add "/meta" to the end of the photo page URL and you can easily see all the settings your camera recorded:
Exif | edited 2 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! However, to be honest, there isn't a lot of useful information saved by your camera. You can probably remember if you had in macro mode though and also how you did the lighting. It boils down to wanting some evidence that you are paying attention to the skill involved in photography and really want people to invest time in providing a critique rather than just saying "nice shot" and moving on. I think I prefer the original version to the edited picture. You have pushed the colours and cropped in close on the latter so it is hard to see what it is.
On the original, it looks like you are a bit to close and so the depth of field is minimal. One trick might be to take the picture from further away still and then crop in to what you originally framed but you will probably be able to get the nostril and the rest of the head in focus. Wulf |
