I was able to get out to hunters point and shoot at the old naval shipyard out there. My friend and I went up to the radio tower with our medium format cameras and I think I came out with some nice shots!
Critique is more than welcome, comments as well. Thanks for looking! ![]() machines by photocist, on Flickr ![]() gears by photocist, on Flickr ![]() the radio by photocist, on Flickr

Wow, really interesting photos. How do you get to/into this area? I might like to try shooting it the next time I'm in San Fran.
I like the 3rd shot the best. The low angle and pealing paint really tell a story of decay. I also like the 2nd one, although I wish there was a little more light on the left side of the electric motor. It was obviously a very dark area with only windows for lights. nicely done. Tim

thanks for the feedback.
its across the water from candlestick. go down evans street in san francisco (from downtown) and just keep going on the main road until you hit a t, where you go left. I just drove by the guard, who just sat in her car.. We had to move a door out of the way, and we saw a cop and 2 security guards looking at my car. Had to be quick and stealthy to get in and out. i just realized i posted this in the wrong section. can a mod move this to sys?
