Default Circle on his nose?

If you look real close at this, well, maybe you don't have to look real close, there is a circle of lighter pixels on this man's nose. Have I discovered another lens flare, or could this be something else. The sun is to his back...some kind of reflection? What do you think? And thanks for you input.

You know...you may be right...but the more I look at it, I think it may be a direct reflection of the sun from the front of my lens. The lens flare I've had before had colored spots. This is just more light in one area than in the rest.
I appreciate you looking and commenting.

definitely lens flare, you got a few spots on the right side of the brim of his cap too.

That flare forms a perfect circle. If it was a reflection it would follow the contours of his face.

You are all absolutely correct! After corvus2606 observed the cap brim circles, I started looking at other areas and other pictures taken the same day. The circles are everywhere. Thank you all for your input. It has be a most helpful lesson. Don't use that lens without a lens hood, unless you want lens flare!
Thanks again.
