Default Inspired by a resent post

There was a post recently on collages, and diptychs etc. I thought it was very interesting, and decided to try my hand at it using 6 pics, 5 of which are from my 365 (im only on day 27)

I am posting it here, because I would like some real feedback on this. How are the colors in regards to sepia tone, and are they matching?, the placement of the photos (does it flow?), and simple presentation. I know it is more difficult to critique something like this, since it doesn't even have exif data (being put together in FastStone), but all the pics were done with my D90, with my 50mm, all edited in GIMP, first to black and white via channel mixer, some slight curve adjustment, mild burn, soft light and sepia overlay done in layers. then assembled in FastStone. I know it is weird to use an image viewer to assemble a collage, but i really like some of there available border options, and you can place pics anywhere at any size really easy, though i am sure i will still get some teasing for doing it that way. advice and opinions welcome, im not all that super sensitive, but there is really no need to be unnecessarily cruel, so if thats your angle, pass on by my thread

Not a critique as I have never done one of these.

It works for me. One thing I would change is to use a pic of the teddy bear that has a bit of fill light on its face to give it a bit more detail.

I like the choice of images, the tone, and the composition of the collage, Sheri. This seems like a very effective and appealing way to put together some of your 365 images. I do agree with Richard that the teddy bear image could be lighter to show a bit more detail, but all in all, this works for me!

Are you posting your 365 images in that section of the forum? I like the style of your work and would enjoy seeing more.

EileenD- yes i do have a thread going on here for my 365, il share the link. any feedback is always welcome.
As for the teddy, he does appear a bit underexposed in the face on this collage, but in general, he really does not have a lot of features left. my son has loved this poor thing to stinky death!
heres the thread for my 365 My 365 2011

This is a really terrific idea and display, Sheri.

I am in a bit of a quandary about the “sameness” of all the photos in vibrance, saturation, etc. I think a bit of variety might be something to try. I agree with the teddy assessment.

This could become a really great project.
