1st attempt at product looking photography

Like the title says...this is my 1st attempt at trying to do something that looks kind of product photography like.
Shot using an sb600 to camera left into reflective umbrella.

Would love some advice on how I could make it better.

You did not say if a mirror was used..

The "mirror image" is way to opaque. Should be there but not so... BAM! I think most people that do this type of thing usually use a sheet of clear acrylic.

I like the lighting, good focus, good DOF.

yes it is a mirror...was all I had laying around

The mirror effect, is nice but not for product photography. It really threw me off my vision when I looked at photo.

PS – it is still a good photo

I actually kind of like the "mirror effect" you have going here, but agree with Papa that it is a little too BAM as he put it. Maybe crop a bit more off the bottom so you can just see the reflection?
