Cool 5 Stringed Wife



This is my boyfriend playing his bass. I used a Canon Rebel xTi using the 'Program' setting with flash on. Manual focus was also used. We were in the basement, so lighting wasn't fabulous.
Editing done: lower saturation, lower exposure

Maybe this was intentional but it seems that the focal point is about 1/3 the way down the neck on the strings. I'd like to see the FP on one of the hands.

It was semi-intentional and a semi-mistake. I was going for the focus to be on his hand on the neck, but he moved his hand higher up the neck by the time the photo was shot. I'm new at band shots, so hopefully I'll have a technique soon.
