My sister took a picture of this after she found it in our shed, feasting on her friend's hand...
She says, "Yuck." My sister and I are both kind of interested in photography. We both just have point and shoot cameras, but I'm looking to get an SLR for my birthday, so I'm looking for advice here... Wow thats a cool photo! Good job. I think it looks rather nice where it is. But thats just my opinion.

Yes, it's fine to center sometimes and it works fine here. It would probably have been a negative if you had followed the rule of thirds...
