Default First attempt at CYANOTYPE.

Trying to make this frozen stream look as cold as possable. Is it over done at level #5? , or would it look colder in just B&W. Or any other comments Picture 1281 Camera Nikon D90 , Lens 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6

I believe you have passed the point of making it look cold and have entered the realm of making it look purple.

Ya it is quite purple isn't it. Maybe turn it down from 5 to 2 ? How about the composition. Is that good? To close or to far? I know the cameras mechanical settings pretty well. ie. apature,sutter speed,Iso,metering, but not the picture control settings and how they affect the outcome of the picture. I guess I will just have to ware the sutter out to find out. Good thing I don't have to buy film. Thanks for the feedback.

i think that you are lacking contrast in the image. It is an interseting shot, but i do not think it makes the shot look cold, as you said you wanted.

I also think that maybe the composition is not the most complimentary
