Default Fireworks

Trying to capture Fireworks at Festival city, Dubai. Most of the snaps were out of range/ frame. Only 2 came out a bit ok...but still not sure whether this brings out the feel.
A few questions
Though I had put on tripod, had forgot to turn off the IS..does it matter?
Do I need to crop ?
The smoke effect is visible since this was 5th or 6th firework.....do I leave it (smoke) as it is or should it be removed?

Thank you soooooooo much for fixing your post. As far as redoing your photo, no, what you have is fine. Imo, when posting a photo from Flickr (740 at the largest) its easier to see. Attachments are always so darn small

Thats an amazing fireworks shot!
There is some empty black space on the right, but I guess that happened because you went for the firework reflections too in the shot. Maybe a portrait orientation? ALso can you lineup the horizon to make it horizontal?
IMO shooting just fireworks in the sky is technically difficult, but you have incorporated the fireworks, their reflection, and a landscape too in this shot which makes this a great shot
