Default My jewelry shoot

My sis and I sell our jewelry we make on a web site and I took these shots using a light tent I made from PVC pipe and cloth. I had 3 lights {house hold} set up, one on either side and one in the back.I also used my flash off camera. I would love to know how I could make these better. Thanks Jean

Lovely composition. And nice depth of field, as the closes pearls are nicely blurred.

Why not using the tripod and lowering the ISO?

Also, maybe a half (or even a full) stop lower would give nicer colors, I miss a bit more saturated blue here.

Default Your jewelry shoot

I am at exactly the same place you are. My husband and I are enthusiastic silversmiths and have to start selling to justify our expensive hobby. I am so dissatisfied with the photos I've taken so far and I know lighting is the issue. A less than professional looking photo is not going to do the trick. Very best luck to you with your jewelry sales!
