I took these pictures of water lilies at a park, at about noon. I used AV priority with f/2.8 to blur the background. Because the flower is at a pond, there is limited angles from which I can take the pictures. Hope you can give comments.

I like the second one much more than the first, mainly because the flower is in good focus. The slightly blurred lower petals in the first is a little bit distracting. You should probably crop the second one much closer, since most of it is wasted space. You can also boost the saturation slightly and sharpen it, that should result in a much better image.
