Default Wedding Rings

I am thinking of using this picture on our wedding announcement. The gap between the boards on the left side of the rings is bugging me because the image is so simple and it stands out to me so I need to fix it. Is this image too simple? Should I put some more sparkle in my ring? Any ideas or critique are welcome, I would like to improve this image if possible.

Thank you.

Getting in closer will help to leave the focus on just the rings. I usually like to see the rings touching as they are supposed to suggest a union of 2 people. Having them separate kind of looks like they are separated.
They could use some sharpening to bring out the detail in them a bit more. Nice rock by the way!

Thank you for ideas, I could probably try reshooting it all together but here is what I could do in PS and I do like it better. I wasn't able to make them touch but I think this way is much better than before.

I don't know if the reflection in left ring is on purpose or accidental? Either way I personally find it distracting so maybe if You can get hands on cpl filter to reduce it?

I agree with the reflection issue MOHO (My Own Humble Opinion) I think the rings would look better on a bible or what ever religious article associated with the ceremony, Very creative.

Nice shot. The angle of the blur beneath the rings makes it look like the entire image needs straightening. If you could even up that blur I think it may be beneficial.

I really like this picture but, what I think could make it better is if you crop some of the top and bottom blur out.
