Default Old Racecar and Tools

I was at the Peterson Museum in California a while ago and took this picture. I was/and still am learning my camera. I really ended up liking this photo. My question is how the composition works with the photo? Any other critiques are very welcomed.

I did a black and white filter on it and left the number red. I liked the look of the black and white. Creates a different look for the photo in my opion.

I really like the B&W version. In the original, my eye is drawn to the warm color of the wood with the tools on it and the car becomes part of the background. With the B&W edit, the car and its racing history becomes the center of attention and tells me a much more interesting story, which the tools are part of.
