Carosel.jpg
New to this website and Just beginning my photography journey. I like this picture but afraid there is too much going on? If the lighting is appropriate and if there should be more of a focus on the carosel? Any feedback is greatly apreciated! Thank you Morgan |

Welcome to DPS, Morgan, and thanks for posting. I agree with what you are suggesting in your own comments. When I look at the image, it's unclear to me what your focus is. My eye goes to the guy in the front but it's clear he isn't the subject. If you were closer to the carousel and decided on a particular element, you could draw the viewer in to what you are seeing. I look forward to seeing more of your images here!

Welcome to DPS Morgan. I agree that the shot looks busy and its hard to find the subject in there. The carousel looks like it has potential however, are you able to go back and photograph it again? If so perhaps you could try later in the day when the light is better - the golden hour - there may also be less people around at that time which would make the scene less cluttered and allow you to focus on the carousel. Look forward to seeing more!
