Default I'm kind of ambivalent about this one.

On the one hand, it "worked" as I intended, but on the other, it seems sort of uninteresting, like it's lacking something. If this were yours, how would you "fix" it?

Default only an opinion

To me there is nothing on the right hand side of the picture. I would have either put more space between the sun and the plant or maybe crop now so there isn't so much space to the right. Just my humble opinion.

I think there's probably some good detail in the plant in the foreground but it's getting lost to some extent in the background. You could try cropping to see what you come up with but it may be a shot that needs to be recomposed.

You know sun is catching eye very strongly, i have to make extra efforts to keep my eye rest on the plant.

i like this photograph but as the other posters said, too much space on the right, the sun attracts the eye. if i were to fix this, i know i wouldn't be able to duplicate this same situation if i reshoot, so i would fix this in post processing by selecting the plant ad put it in another layer and adjust the brightness and contrast and remove by using layer mask the extra bg that was included during the selection stage. maybe enlarge it a little and move it to the right a bit. then go back to the original bg and adjust with layers. flatten and crop a bit of the right area. well.others call this 'cheating'

I call it "WAY over my head!"

I DO like what you've done. The increased contrast and the almost vignette effect kind of force your eye toward the left.

Like others said, I, too found the right side to be uninteresting and was thinking about cropping, but your approach is much better.
