To me the brush does not stand out enough. I duplicated the layer, masked out the brush and adjusted the histogram of the background to make it darker.

Thanks tuxcomputers, I'm liking that edit. It also brought back some of the saturation in. What did you think of the desaturation level? Would you bring it back down after darkening it?

I wish I played with the composition and placement more, I mostly just varied the angle. Do you think the cloudy day lighting suits it or could shadows and directional light add to the image?

Apologies on the image size, windrider86

What I did was quick and easy to demonstrate that your main subject needs to be more prominent. I probably should have dropped the brightness too.

BTW It wasn't just the size, read the rules.

I understand that part, but still would like your opinion on the destaturation level.

Please let me know if I missed any of the other rules. EXIF is embedded in the file, added questions, and I didn't post more than once in 24 hours. The size was the only thing I didn't rectify at that moment.

Posting your exif is a good thing. Do you need help in finding how to do that? Size can be rectified and needs to be, your image needs to be less than 740 and its 800
