Default Trying to put interest into a washed out pic.

Race Week, Block Island

Olympus P&S
ISO 100
Exp 1/320
F f/5.6
FL 7.3mm
Flash did not fire

I took this shot off the back of a boat with a P&S while returning to the harbor after a day of racing. As you can see there was complete cloud cover. The original was washed out so I edited it with Photoshop. Besides cropping I adjusted the contrast and used the color saturation feature.
Is it too dark and is the composition interesting.

IMO it is too dark. I would have tried the "shadows/highlights" adjustment in PS.

on my monitor it looks dark and a bit greenish. if you make it more darker it looks like taken under moonlight. i tried levels and your white slider should be moved towards where the histogram starts to rise and adjust a bit of the green cast. composition looks ok.
