I don't usually post in critique-section and I've been wondering lately why. It's probably because most of the time I'm so pleased with the photos I end up posting online that I don't really need (or want) the critique.
Well I'm pleased with this one too, but I still want to hear some opinions from others. So I drew this image using a YouTube-tutorial (more info in flickr). I tried to portray the "event" by showing both the drawing and the laptop-screen with the video on it blurred in the background. I wanted to make the photo also interesting as a photo, not only as an informational source (or something...) like for example this another photo I took of this same scene. So. Did I succeed? Is this also interesting as a photograph? Is the blurred screen distracting? Also, feel free to tell me your overall opinions on the photo or/and on what I perhaps could improve! Hi, I know I'm no pro, but I like this one, better than the one in the link
I like the perspective and composition, because you made the horse on the drawing look like he is above me, and than I see something like a reflection of it on screen, and I don't find that distracting a bit I like your drawing and this idea too cheers |
