Default Night 3/4 Moon

Just wondering about placement in the pic and sharpness? acceptable?

Nice capture. I think the sharpness is right. Also, the placement/"composition" works i think because you placed your watermark in the lower right to add something to that space. Nice font

Personally I have just used a square crop on moon pics since I figure a white moon on pure black sky doesn't need to be in one third of the pic or not.

Yeah there is plenty of detail, I have the same camera but I use a Sigma 18-250 I get half-way decent results but far from what you are getting with the 100-400mm. As soon as I get an upgraded lens let I can wait to see my results.
