Default lack of inspiration

Hello,

I took this at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, and I really had a hard time getting a good shot. I felt like I did well in other shots, but this just didn't come out the way I had hoped. Any ideas? Thanks!

How about another angle or at least cropping?

That sculpture, brige or whatever shown in the right-back ground is distracting.

I've been there! I live an hour away. I agree that cropping out the bridge would definitely help. Also, It might look cool to back up a bit so you could get some of the ground in front of the pond in the foreground. Maybe a vertical shot would work well. Or you could get the skyline in the background. I have a shot like that. Nice job though.

Also, remember that not every shot will be great. If you got others that you are happy with, use those ones. I get so many shots that just don't end up working, for numerous reasons. Keep shooting! Experiment and have fun!

I would have got closer and tried to shoot it against the sky. Try shooting this kind of thing from almost literally every angle. You've got hundreds of shots to play with, use them!
