Default First Attempt at Fireworks

This is my first attempt at shooting fireworks. I think it's a bit out of focus, or maybe it's just my eyes. I didn't realize the top is cut off until I downloaded it. Does that take away from the photo? Do the lights in the background distract? I do like the reflection on the water. Thanks for your comments/critique.

I like the water, too.

I do find the background lights distracting. I'm sure you could easily clone out those lights using the clone stamp tool in Photoshop.
